Job Description

Jack Henry & Associates EPS File Processing team has an exciting new opening for an Item Processing Supervisor in our Allen Office. This team is responsible for receiving digital and balancing digital images such as remote deposit capture. The supervisor is directly responsible for managing the day to day activities of 10 direct reports. The supervisor will track and respond to processing errors, complete required statistical reports, and monitor production of item processors to ensure efficient processing. This position will be expected to help key items in during peak volumes, as well as work a rotation of weekend/holiday coverage.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in banking or financial services operations experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience

  • Must have documented experience with 10-key data entry


  • Experience in Check Item Processing

  • Experience in Microsoft Excel- Importing Data, and data manipulation


  • Provides training and guidance to staff to ensure proper handling of data.

  • Addressing customer concerns.

  • Monitoring of work load and directing resources.

  • Supervises Item processing group.

  • Updates item processing center policies and procedures.

  • Tracking and notifying customers of improper merchant behavior.

  • Researching errors performed by team members.

  • Monitoring system performance and notifying appropriate departments of issues..

  • Reporting and tracking individual team member’s production numbers including error rates.

  • Employee scheduling.

  • Performs all tasks according to established guidelines in a manner that provides a high level of service.

  • Performs any level of task performed by their subordinates.
