Texas Health Resources PHARMACY TECH PRN in Allen, Texas
PRN hours including some weekends
Required minimum education:
High School Diploma required. Graduate of a pharmacy technician program preferred.
Required minimum experience:
Two years experience in a hospital based pharmacy.
Required minimum license/certification:
Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
Experience with Sterile Products preparation. Must possess general computer skills. Ability to communicate well with others. PYXIS system experience preferred.
Medication Distribution and Preparation
Operating Pharmacy Systems/Equipment/Inventory
Utilizes data and quality improvement methods to reduce errors
Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in schedule and/or workload assignment necessary to meet changing needs of the department.
