Texas Health Resources Registered Nurse II - Med/Surg (nights) in Allen, Texas


Our Med/Surg, Surgical Inpatient Department at Texas Health Allen, is in need of a full-time Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is excellent at communicating with peers, physicians, patients and who cares about customer service

Qualified candidates will be a Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs.

RNs hired after January, 2014, require completion of BSN within 3 years of start date. RNs hired within THR after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.

One year experience as a clinical registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program, or acceptance into a THR residency program.

Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Texas or Compact State.

BSN - Preferred

Current AHA BLS training.

Three 12 hours shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Rotating weekends. Holidays required.

In addition, you must hold a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
