Encompass Home Health Home Health and Hospice Agency Administrator -RN in Amarillo, Texas
The Administrator (RN) is a leadership role as the cheif executive agent and is directly responsible for ensuring the execution of the operations of the agency on a day-to-day basis. The Administrator (RN) oversees all agency operations, services, personnel performance, and office management on an ongoing basis. The Administrator (RN) has the direct responsibility of ensuring the agency meets Federal, State and local laws regarding the certification and licensure process of the agency at all times. The Administrator (RN) reports directly to the Regional Vice President/Regional Director and to the Governing Body of the agency as required.
Holds a current and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in TX.
A Bachelor's degree in health care administration or a related field, or a minimum of five years of administration experience in home health or hospice is preferred.
Must have a good understanding of the Federal, State and local laws/regulatory guidelines governing the operation of a Home Health agency.
Must be professional, organized and able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing as well as prepare and present education material to Agency employees and community referral sources utilizing computers/ electronic equipment.
Must be capable of multitasking while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
