Texas Health Resources PHARMACIST PRN in Arlington, Texas


This position is for the brand new Infusion Pharmacy.

Hours: PRN, as needed

Minimum Education: B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm D.

Required Minimum Experience: None required, prefer 3 years hospital experience.

Required license/certification: Active, licensed Pharmacist with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy to practice Pharmacy in the State of Texas.

This position will be responsible for:

Role modeling teamwork and advancing employee partnership, including actively recognizing excellence and improvement

from co-workers, in addition to holding one's self and others accountable for high quality and efficient teamwork between the pharmacy technician and

other healthcare providers.

Timely and accurate preparation, delivery & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of

technology to do so. Additionally, clinical services should be provided to ensure safe medication administration and for clinical monitoring.

Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, certifications, registration

and other documentation.

This position must also consistently reflect the department's Quality Improvement and Patient Safety standards, programs and initiatives.

ongoing professional development of one's own self and peers including demonstrating situational leadership and remaining in a constant learning and teaching state.

Management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastages) and discovering new process efficiencies in the utilization of resources.
