Northrop Grumman is seeking a 2016 College Hire - Business Operations Integration Analyst This position will be located in our Technology Services Sector in Austin, TX.

Northrop Grumman Technology Services is a global provider of innovative, cost effective solutions. From sustainment and modernization, supply chain management, training and simulation, and high technology services, we offer a full-spectrum of support.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s TIERS Data Center Services. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where she/he will interact with the Program Manager, Project Managers, Operations Managers, vendors, and customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Integrates relationships between business units and central corporate functions to ensure success in meeting Program business and corporate goals and objectives.

  • Identifies and facilitates resolution of operational issues.

  • Acts as a liaison between corporate shared services and internal business units.

  • Reviews status of projects, manages schedules and prepares status reports.

  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Program Manager, project managers, operations managers, vendors, and customer.

  • Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform professional tasks in achieving Program goals with Program PMO and Service Management, as well as other business units and central corporate functions (e.g. Business Management, Procurement, Subcontracts, Supply Chain Management).

  • Validates information and results from business units and central corporate functions for quality, accuracy, and timeliness as it relates to meeting the business needs of the Program.

  • Uses effective communication skills, both written and verbal, along with systems and tools to organize and analyze information.

  • Represents Program in recurring PMO activities including weekly Project Status Reports, weekly procurement and supplier status reporting, monthly subcontractor reporting, and program artifact maintenance.

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project, issue and action item progress, using technology, tools, and automation, and will be often tasked with intervention and problem solving with operations and line management to solve problems and meet scheduled dates/deliverables.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business

  • Basic knowledge of all Microsoft Office tools with focus on Microsoft Excel and Project

  • Ablility to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result

  • Ability to learn ERP, purchase request system, analytics, SharePoint, and other enterprise business applications where required to perform duties as identified above

  • U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent Internship with a mid to large corporation

  • Prior experience in an office work environment

  • Experience in working on business full life-cycle projects from project inception through launch

  • Service-oriented work experience

  • Interest or experience in Information Technology and related services
