TSYS Account Manager - NSPS in Austin, Texas

The NSPS Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing accounts within the NetSpend Payment Solutions distribution channel. This position will work closely with product development, marketing, customer service, finance, field sales, and industry associations/consultants to uncover and communicate new vertical specific products, services, programs and pro forma P & L associated with each the channel.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall financial responsibility for the targeted sales verticals including Card sales, Revenue, and Gross Margin

  • Lead strategic planning for payday vertical working with all internal stakeholders to expand the total contribution from this channel

  • Responsible for acquisition and launch of new partners

  • Design and execute marketing campaigns, singularly or in conjunction with distribution partners, aimed at providing maximum value to the cardholder and improving cardholder spend and retention

  • Work with marketing and sales to develop go-to-market sales tools (company & product positioning doc’s, vertical industry sales presentations, boilerplate proposals and channel sales tools)

Skills/Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in account management in the prepaid financial services or any other similar industry (telecom, utilities, etc.)

  • Proven experience in key account management and supporting the launch of new distribution partners

  • Proven sales experience in acquiring key account distribution partners

  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with business plan development, research and analysis and experience in launching new vertical markets

  • Experience in conducting needs assessments to determine performance gaps and market requirements (channel and end user customer)

  • Experience in designing and implementing go-to-market programs, metrics/measurement systems to track new vertical market performance and effectiveness; ongoing assessment and benchmarking of programs against industry competitors and standards

  • Must have: demonstrated ability to partner with internal management and sales teams; strong communications and facilitation skills; strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite of tools)

  • Experience working in Financial services, telecom, and insurance, is a plus
