Back End Developer

This person will be responsible for developing clean and crisp code for customer facing and internal applications. You will be working in Team Web that works in an agile, entrepreneurial environment that allows members to define their own projects and priorities. In addition to workplace flexibility we use cutting edge technology to stay competitive in the constantly changing E-commerce world.

The perfect candidate will possess a Passion for Innovation and a willingness to fully embrace change.

The ideal candidate must be able to use innovative problem-solving skills to create solutions to support high volume E-commerce environments consisting of multiple web sites. This position reports directly to the Director of UX and Analytics.

We are looking for someone that likes to solve a wide array of problems and enjoys working in a fun, fast paced, agile environment.


  • Develop Scalable Solutions to E-Commerce Problems

  • Develop in Back End Frameworks including .Net, SQL, and Spoon, (never heard of it? Look it up! Makes data transformations super easy and it s free.)

  • Implement Best Practices to ensure content is delivered to customer as fast as possible.

  • Maintain data warehouse to get data to our business units as fast as possible.

  • Build internal applications that people will love.

Technical Competency

  • Ability to develop in a full-stack environment.

  • Possess the ability to assess a problem, design multiple solutions, and execute the correct one.

  • Deep understanding of SQL and why it is still relevant to business.

  • Knowledge with .Net or the ability and willingness to learn.

  • Being able to solve problems using scalable solutions that function in a high demand environment.

  • Familiar with source control principles and GIT.

  • Creates well designed, reusable code.

  • Understanding of all major browsers and the special considerations required for all various idiosyncrasies.

  • Understand and use XML schemas.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor s Degree, or equivalent experience required

  • 1+ years programming / web development experience
