Combined with the vast relationships with companies both large and small makes this position highly visible in the market as well at the cloud industry.IBM is currently seeking a Cloud & Cognitive Solutions Professional –Technical Sales - Communications & Media Sector who can articulate the benefits of complex Hybrid Cloud and XaaS technical solutions and products via industry and business terms to customers as well as documenting and promoting complete Hybrid Cloud and XaaS solutions via Demo creation, Videos, Proof of technologies, and presentations. The successful candidate will also contribute to virtual technical teams building solutions to specific customer’s opportunities.Additional responsibilities include:

  • Relating the technical needs of the customer back to the business facilitating understanding of the value of the solution back to the customers business (ROI)

  • Insuring the effective deployment of customer purchased Hybrid Cloud XaaS solutions

  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about Cloud XaaS technology and solving complex problems then documenting, training, and publicizing the result of the architected solution's impact to the business. They will work with Cloud technical teams, IBM client teams, Offering Management, Development/Lab and IBM business partners. Industry experience will include 2+ Years of industry experience working in, selling to, or supporting 1 or more industries within the US Federal Market.

  • 4+ Years of industry experience working in, selling to, or supporting cloud related (software and services platforms) opportunities within the Communications and Media Sectors.

  • Expert level skills to guide technical client side executives on Cloud XaaS strategy and solution best practices – aiding client to identify high-value XaaS entry points.

  • Expert level skills in DevOps productivity, Hybrid Integration, Bluemix IaaS &PaaS, Cognitive Computing, Watson API’s, Cloud Data Services, IoT, Cloud Privacy and Security.

  • Experienced level vertical industry knowledge. Ability to position Cloud & Cognitive technology against industry solution requirements.
