IBM Cloud Process Transformation Technical Sales Specialist in Austin, Texas

What are the top responsibilities of this role?As a Cloud Process Transformation Technical Sales Specialist, you'll consult directly with our clients, learning their business, their industry, technical requirements and competitive landscape. You'll leverage your technical expertise to progress the technical sale of Hybrid Cloud Smarter Process solutions that enable customers to capture, improve, deploy, and monitor their processes. You will also help customers capture their business rules and be able to use IBM's decision and events management technology to manage them so as to be able to respond to changing business conditions. You will collaborate with our sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed Smarter Process solutions. . You will deliver solution workshops, product demonstrations, technical education, Proofs of Concepts (PoCs) and other technical accelerators. You will become the trusted technical advisor for your customers, supporting technical escalations, designing solutions, answering technical questions, and facilitating software deployment for your customers.Responsibilities Include:
Articulate benefits of complex technical solutions and products via industry and business terms to customers.
Relate the technical needs of the customer back to the business facilitating understanding of the value of the solution back to the customers business (ROI)
Document and promote complete solutions via Demo creation, Videos, Proof of technologies, and presentations
Contribute to virtual technical teams building solutions to specific customers opportunities
Partner with sales peers to manage territory to drive new sales and expand existing business
Maintain understanding of the < INDUSTRIAL > market, including trends, industry business processes and industry use cases
Maintain and apply knowledge of enterprise solution designs and products, methods and tools
Maintain and apply knowledge of Smarter Process Saas solutions with on-prem solutions
Maintain and apply knowledge of technical pre-sales, implementation of Process Management and/or Decision Management solutions and technologies
Who are the primary teams this person will work with?
Sales, Tech Sales, Offering Mgt, Development, Services of all kinds including channel, AND CUSTOMERS
