Directly accountable/responsible for successful sales and be involved with delivery of Advisory and Implementation services for our North American clients.
Manage a small team of consultative sales professionals and help us grow and double the size of this business, while enabling our clients to derive the value from our Cloud solutions.
Drive and lead the overall strategy for growth and execution of this consulting business, with assistance from a team that are responsible for delivering on the contracts sold and the commitments to our clients
Day-to-day responsibility for all financial and operational account management activities, including: pipeline management, revenue forecasts, bid & proposal management, and contract quality assurance and compliance.
From a Go-To-Market perspective, the Sales Manager will be involved with business development with the broader Cloud Services sales team, proposal writing, negotiations, deal closure, and management of a team of specialized consultative sellers. The Sales Manager will engage the appropriate IBM resources and subject matter experts to differentiate IBM in the sales process.
Solid experience in consulting and business management.
Solid experience in consulting services sales.
At least 3 years’ experience in identifying, qualifying and closing complex engagements including sales, marketing, service proposal through implementation.
At least 2 years’ experience in client interaction/relationship building, including experience working with client middle and executive management.
