Etch Equipment Engineer
Seeking an experienced engineer interested in working alongside a talented team of professionals with a key focus on establishing and maintaining world class process/equipment optimization and yield enhancement as a competitive advantage.
Work in the fab with the Equipment/Process Technicians and other Engineers to support troubleshooting and maintenance activities with a mindset towards root cause analysis, standardization, and 5S
Understand and be able to sustain the factory by performing tool qualifications, lot dispositions, and interlock/alarm reduction activities
Run experiments and analyze data to improve capacity, tool to tool variation, and defect performance
Perform assigned trend monitoring activities regularly and work with Tool Owners to implement corrective actions
Utilize TPM concepts and LEAN tools to implement systematic solutions for long-term prevention of issues
Willingness to work in a 24/7 high volume manufacturing environment
BS degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or related field of study plus a minimum of 3 years of industry experience
Highly capable in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
Must have strong communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills
Focused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment
High level of initiative and desire to learn
Familiar with TPM concepts
Strong background in APC and SPC
Successful candidates will be detailed and task oriented and place high value on customer service, team work and flexibility.
Ability to meet due dates for action items Successful candidates will strictly adhere to SOPs.
Must be punctual
Previous Etch semiconductor process experience preferred
