Ketra Field Services Technician - NYC in Austin, Texas

We are seeking aField Services Technician (FST)to provide technical product support to Ketra’s customers and partners out of our NYC office. In this role, the FST is the first line of contact during all phases of the construction project lifecycle. The FST provides technical and application support and also assists with troubleshooting.

This role reports to Technical Services Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for projects via email, phone or in person to Ketra’s customers and partners

  • Provide onsite, web-based or phone based training for Ketra technical product offering including lighting control systems and software packages

  • Manage relationships with onsite integration teams

  • Work with commercial sales channel stakeholders to resolve project-specific issues as needed

  • Manage record keeping and project documentation for all work performed

  • Provide product and project feedback to Ketra development teams to improve products

  • Participate in regular project status meetings to keep all stakeholders updated

  • Ensure timely and technically correct coordination with any 3rd party integrators

  • Provide post-sales technical support as needed

  • Support product returns and replacements process

  • Conduct project post mortems and create recommendations for process improvement and technological upgrades

  • Customer-oriented approach that exhibits patience and attentiveness in all client interactions

  • Comfortable working independently and with limited direct oversight

  • Approximately 25% travel requirement
