Topgolf Front of House Manager (Hospitality Manager) in Austin, Texas


Topgolf is seeking spirited and knowledgeable Front of House Managers (we call the role Hospitality Manager) to join the fastest growing entertainment/Food and Beverage venue in the country! As an integral part of the site management team, our Hospitality Managers are responsible for teams of 40-150 Associates. In the role, you will be the chief motivator, provide direction, mentoring, in the moment coaching and training for hourly associates assigned to the team or working on the shifts assigned. This key site leadership opportunity is a hands-on, table touching, results driven position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team player with energetic, motivating and contagious spirit!

  • Ensure Guest satisfaction! Create a positive and upbeat atmosphere of engagement for our guests and associates.

  • Host encouraging pre-shift meetings, clearly communicating any notes/objectives/promotions requested.

  • MOD responsibilities to include effective proactive efforts and proper reactive resolutions with our guests, HANDS-ON TABLE TOUCHING (this is not a back office job), cash handling and deposits, and opening/closing checklists, etc….

  • Provide in the moment coaching, on-going development/action plans and performance management for the assigned associates to support and foster exceptional performance resulting in a positive impact upon our guest’s experience!!!

  • Superior project and task management skills and professional conduct. Solid verbal and written communication skills.

  • Build relationships with team at all levels, acting as the conduit of collaboration between FOH and BOH.

  • Oversight for Golf Services (Lobby), Bayhost (Server), Bartender, Busser/Runner or Porter schedules, training and on-going development.

  • Support Inventory/Cost Control and mitigation programs at a site level to enhance profit by reducing waste and avoiding loss.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of restaurant/hotel/golf course management experience with at least 1 year most recently in an Assistant General Manager or General Manager position within a Restaurant, Hotel, or Golf Environment

  • Excellent communication and organization skills.

  • Team player with energetic and enthusiastic personality.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
