FULFILLMENT MANAGEMENT ADVISOR - AUSTIN, TX

Responsible for outbound freight operations supporting Retail and Distributor customers. This includes analyzing data, identifying opportunities to improve the supply chain, assisting with escalation resolution, assisting on the day-to-day operational aspects of outbound transportation, inclusive of heavyweight air, less than truckload (LTL) shipments, full truck load (FTL) shipments, parcel shipments, and large project shipments and working cross-functionally with internal & external partners to ensure regional strategies are followed.
-Responsible for carrier management supporting the Retail and Distributor Channel customers, coordinating trailer pools, and ensuring performance is maintained by carrier base
-Analyze the carrier's performance for outbound freight movements throughout US
-Lead strategic initiatives that identify and mitigate business risks to ensure customer expectations and/or Must Arrive By Dates (MABD) are met
-Capture and develop KPI metrics and leading indicators to be used by leadership team to manage outbound freight carriers and ensure business controls compliance
-Work cross-functionally with internal/external stakeholders and drive solutions that meet the needs of our customers
-Participate in cross-functional core teams and lead the efforts to drive influence across the inbound and outbound supply chain
-Work with outbound carriers to ensure complete understanding of root cause on failures, as well as, mitigation plans are put in place to prevent future excursions. Provide insight to leadership team when corrective actions and follow up are necessary when provider's performance is below goal
- Assist in driving a carrier BCRP in order to mitigate supply chain disruptions
- B.S. in Supply Chain preferred or 6-8 years of relevant education or equivalent combination of education and experience
-Demonstrated tactical and business acumen skills.
-Strength in the core competencies of organizational agility.
-Command and presentation skills are critical.
-Familiarity with Oracle, Tableu, and MS Office Suite is preferred
-Advanced analytic skills with Access and other data management systems will be helpful in the analyst role.
