Job Description:

The Infrastructure Engineering Project Management Team provides exceptional project management and business systems analysis with a focus on Infrastructure technology architectures, operations, customer service, and team member happiness and excellence. The Infrastructure Project Manager Leader reports directly to the Senior Coordinator of Infrastructure Engineering and Systems Management and is responsible for the leadership of a team skilled in project management and Infrastructure business analysis. The role is ideal for someone who excels in a player-coach role and can provide hands-on expertise as well as effective leadership. The highly capable candidate will provide effective leadership in project management, resource allocation, will leverage KPI metrics, value stream mapping, and other performance metrics to identify critical constraints with the goal of keeping workflow optimized. This Leadership position will partner with key Technology Architects, Build and Deployment Engineers and Support Teams to ensure that Service Transition and Operation are fully accounted for. Organization, flexibility, follow through, patience, passion for technology projects and being a part of the Infrastructure Team, the ability to prioritize, and excellent communication are key requirements as well as strong implementation, administration, and excellent partnership skills.


  • Work closely with Infrastructure Teams to define non-functional requirements.

  • Work closely with the Infrastructure, Application, and Business Partner Teams to define functional requirements as needed.

  • Manage projects, procedures, schedules, documentation, change request, and feedback loops.

  • Provide support to Infrastructure partners. Identify and implement solutions to support and improve Infrastructure and business system analysis processes.

  • Lead multiple projects to completion. Supervise activities of project team. Work on cross-team projects in the organization.

  • Provide Team Member career development guidance.


  • 5+ years’ experience in project management, planning, documentation, analysis, and business requirements management techniques as well as project management concepts and theories.

  • 2+ years’ experience in supervisory role.

  • Experience supporting both purchased and custom developed systems in a large-scale corporate environment.

  • Understanding of IT Service Management processes and tools (ITIL certification a plus).

  • Demonstrated people management skills including hiring, performance management, and retention.

  • Experience in setting goals & objectives, and establishing new processes in support of the broader business analysis and project management strategy.

  • Able to be open, honest, and can give direct feedback and course correction or appreciations as needed.

  • Able to work and think holistically balancing long vs. short term interests.

  • Able to visualize strategically and suggest improvements to processes and design.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.

  • Patience, understanding, flexibility, and a sense of humor are required.

  • Exhibit the flexibility necessary to effectively manage change and thrive in an evolving organization.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and manage time.

  • Retail background, food industry experience preferred.

  • 4 year degree preferred or equivalent experience and at least 4 years’ relevant functional experience in project management, project scheduling, quality assurance testing, preparing documentation and specifications, and technical writing.

  • Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time.
