Development and Production USA (DPUSA) is responsible for Statoil’s portfolio of producing assets and planned field developments across the US. Technological innovation, rigorous safety standards, and environmental awareness drive our operations in the US and have helped Statoil to build a portfolio of onshore, offshore and exploration assets in some of the industry’s most exciting energy resource areas. Statoil’s US headquarters are located in Houston, TX. We also have offices in Austin, TX, Stamford, CT and Washington D.C, as well as in Mexico City. Tasks and responsibilities:
Interacts with other disciplines in a team environment to accomplish company goals
Develop understanding of state regulatory systems
Assist Landmen with projects involving their respective geographic areas
Participate in educational field trips and activities
Draft basic agreements
Job Knowledge Requirements and Most Critical Job Skills:
Basic understanding of Land Management
Ability to effectively and concisely present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
Able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work within multi-disciplinary team
