POSITION SUMMARY: Recruit orient assess collect eligibility documents and enroll appropriate youth for the Life Launch grant. Coordinate and host recruitment events. Serve as the lead staff member on specific program(s) project(s) and coordinate services to assure program success. Performs other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Complete thorough screenings and intakes with individuals interested in Job Search Assistance who qualify for specific Workforce programs by holding individual screening and eligibility appointments. 2. Upload and enter documentation and data into the Department of Labor’s client database MIS as well as GoodTrak and ECM in a timely manner. 3. Host orientation sessions at Goodwill sites as well as Workforce Solutions Career Centers and other youth affiliated programs that will attract suitable applicants to the program. 4. Complete eligibility documentation and refer eligible clients to Workforce Advancement Leadership for assignment to Career Case Managers based on program specific criteria. 5. Assist in training staff with recruitment efforts and the understanding of the eligibility/suitability requirements designated to the specific Workforce Advancement Program. 6. Maintain/enhance relationships with partners and others as necessary that will further advance the Goodwill mission. 7. Responsible for adhering to the monthly quarterly and annual enrollment plan to ensure accuracy within program enrollments. 8. Works collaboratively with others to achieve company goals and further the Goodwill Mission. 9. Collaborate and communicate with the Intake Manager Team and educational partners for accurate referrals to the specific Workforce funded program. 10. Demonstrates ethics and complies with Corporate Compliance Program.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participation in ongoing professional development training related to work
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling Sociology Psychology Health Care Education or related field.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of community resources and skills in networking.
- Ability to use Windows based computer applications.
- Texas Driver’s License good driving record liability insurance vehicle in good working condition to travel on work related business.
- Two years’ experience in case management and program eligibility.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$17/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
