Due to the increasing load and responsibilities that helpdesk have been handling daily in the past year one IT engineer is urgently needed to help improve the quality of service provided by IT.
This engineer will provide direct 2nd level support for the following areas of work that are related to IT helpdesk daily operation scope.
Network: Firewall request implementation, Cisco PRIME, DHCP reservation
System: Telephone system support
Specific Job Duties:
Implement network firewall request and DHCP reservation request.
Identify network issue using Cisco PRIME
Help monitor and maintain the phone system.
Help support SharePoint issues
Provide backup as needed to IT helpdesk daily operation
Necessary Skills / Attributes
1+ year(s) of proven work related experience is required in configuration of firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco (ASA)), Layer 2 and 3 switching and routing knowledge with ethical hacking, firewalls, intrusion/prevention technologies
Working experience and knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
Ability to clearly communicate technical details in both verbal and written forms.
Must be able to work in fast pace environment
Be able to support 24x7 manufacturing facility
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other Engineering/IT major
