SAS is looking for an experienced Web UI developer to design, develop, implement and support new and existing parameter systems which manages user-definable parameters and configuration for manufacturing operation. You will make enhancements and maintain existing Production UI systems and provide 24x7 coverage and second-level support for the owning systems.
Existing Production support and maintenance of the current factory automation system
Code enhancements and new systems development, implementation and support
Provide 24x7 coverage to GPM/eSPEC related escalated issues
Provide troubleshooting and guide end-users to set configurable parameters for MOS
Should be able to read, understand and write basic SQL queries
Should be able to understand the existing Web UI code and be able to work on new web UI development
Should be able to translate the requirements from business to the application logic
Should be familiar with basic UNIX processing commands
Necessary Skills / Attributes
Must hold at least a BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science /Engineering or related field
3+ years Web and UI software development experience is required (Java-based web development preferred)
Skills in JAVA or cURL preferred
Must have basic understanding of Oracle SQL programming
Must have basic understanding of Software Engineering Life Cycle and its processes.
Need strong ability to troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis.
UNIX system programming experience will be highly beneficial.
Ability to communicate technical details both verbally and in writing
Able to collaborate well with the Cross-Cultural teams.
Strong communication skills and customer focus is required to deal with ongoing customer requests.
