IBM North America Marketing Database and Analytics Discipline Leader in AUSTIN, Texas

The focus for the team is on building buyer journeys that weave together content and digital and face to face experiences to compel buyers to choose IBM. We are seeking a proven leader to Manage our Database and Marketing Analytics discipline.Responsibilities for this critical role include:

  • Managing a team of 17 Database Manager (DbM) and Analytics Professionals, including hiring, training, ongoing skill building

  • Be the leading evangelist and enabler of data-driven approaches and capabilities across North America Performance marketing

  • Ensure all members of the team can describe, predict, evolve, and improve marketing performance for their focus area

  • Lead team in developing campaign analytics and data strategies to better profile, target, and re-target prospects. These prospects may be IT or non-IT contacts and may be in new buyer or cross sell /upsell or retain/renew cohorts.

  • Lead team in analyzing end to end campaign results along the marketing funnel, from digital reach/visits to responses, to leads to wins

  • Lead team in making recommendations, based on data analyses, which increase the quantity and quality of engaged prospects and improve conversion rates along the marketing funnel to drive increased business impact through marketing

  • Consult with marketing and sales executives and team members to ensure data consistently drives business decisions and impact

  • Team with a variety of marketing managers to ensure databases, tools, education, and other assets delivered contribute to the success of North America marketing campaigns.

  • 3+ years Database or Marketing Analytics experience
