CLEAResult Program Analyst in Austin, Texas
The Program Analyst is an operations position on the central team for CoolSaver, which is CLEAResult’s HVAC tune-up program for improving energy efficiency. CoolSaver currently runs for several utilities in the United States. The central team is primarily responsible for technology, data reporting and analysis, payments to contractors, process improvement, and operational improvements for the various existing programs, as well as supporting startup of CoolSaver programs in new markets.
This role, due to its position on the central team working with several programs and due to the heavy role of IT and data in the program, will be best suited for someone who has the following characteristics:
Strong people- and time-management skills to manage competing demands and to guide disparate teams toward common goals
Strong proficiency in large databases and Excel and an eagerness and ability to use data to make decisions
A born organizer with an innate drive to keep data and documents useful, current, organized, and accessible
Develop and improve the CoolSaver analytics and tracking system for financial and program performance across CoolSaver programs. This will require deep experience with KPIs, BI software, and program performance.
Lead the adoption of a new data-management system and database for the entire CoolSaver program, including the migration of fields and historical data to the new system. This is a major project that will consume about 50% or more of the position’s time in the first several months. Tasks are likely to include refining the project plan, product testing, and field mapping, all requiring significant coordination with IT and other leaders of the CoolSaver team.
Implement the new system to run the CoolSaver programs, including training internal and external users on the new technology, identifying and fixing unforeseen problems, making continuous improvements, and overall ensuring that the new technology works to run both existing and new programs.
Manage and improve the system for updating the field tool used to perform tune-ups. Hundreds of users around the country use the tool to complete tens of thousands of projects per year. The person in this position will need to cooperate with colleagues to collect feedback and ideas for improvements and fixes, to prioritize them, and to manage the changes users will need to make after technology updates.
Be the steward of the CoolSaver database and data. Manage and improve systems to ensure that data is being collected as needed and in the proper format for data analysis and reporting
Create and maintain an organizational system for program documents.
Assist with expansion of program to new locations, and refine the system for new program startup.
Support business development efforts with program information, including data.
