Position Summary: Manage the Physician Performance Improvement program and Clinical Concurrent Reviewers for core measures.
Knowledge & Skills:
Must be able to demonstrate understanding of HCA’s and St. David’s “Patients First” safety initiative by strict compliance to all safety protocols and procedures. Serves as a resource for nursing unit personnel, Case Management, Health Information Management, Medical Staff, the Medical Staff Office, and ancillary departments via phone, face-to-face, written and verbal communication. Required: Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficient knowledge of word-processing and data entry. Capability of interpreting data and creating understandable information.
Education: Required: Registered Nurse with Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Required: Two years acute care hospital experience and one or more years experience with performance improvement. Extensive knowledge of Physician Performance Improvement. Preferred: Management background of one year.
Credentials: Required: Current Texas Registered Nurse License
