We are looking for a talented and versatile Scrum Master to join our team. The Scrum Master coaches and facilitates scrum teams through the software development life cycle using Agile, Scrum methodologies and works cross-functionally throughout the company to ensure projects are effectively developed and deployed with quality and on time delivery. We are looking for candidates that have grown from developer, tech lead to Scrum master
Fulfills the role of Scrum Master leading multiple Scrum teams through the Agile/Scrum process in the delivery of critical, customer facing, enterprise software development projects.
Implements Agile/Scrum practices to facilitate the incremental and adaptive delivery of software products within the scrum teams.
Uses strong business and technical knowledge to implement solutions to impediments, keeping projects on track.
Drive improvements in software development practices/processes within the teams.
Drives the adoption of key engineering practices like Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development, etc. to improve quality and reliability of team’s deliverables.
Responsible for coaching and mentoring of Product Owners and Scrum Team members on Agile/Scrum/Lean principles and practices.
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Build and document a successful and reproducible Agile/Scrum foundational framework that can be adopted by other teams within the organization
Identifies and manages the risks associated with projects and programs to achieve project success.
Responsible for planning, executing, tracking and managing cost, schedule, and scope
Responsible for project reporting and escalating issues on a timely basis
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of technology experience.
5+ years of experience, as an Analyst, Developer or Architect, working with technical teams developing Enterprise class software applications
Must be a certified Scrum Master with 3+ years of experience playing the Scrum Master role for a technology team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Knowledge of numerous, well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: Burn down techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
Experience working with a variety of roles (business, support, operations, development)
Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines
Experience using TFS agile templates is strongly desired
Greatly beneficial to have previous experience in the healthcare industry
Greatly beneficial to have exposure in the Cloud, Java and other open-source tool set
