IBM Senior Server Sales Specialist in Austin, Texas

Senior Server Sales Specialist position is responsible for selling IBM z Series and Power server hardware and software offerings (""high end servers"") in the US Federal space. The candidate should be highly skilled in the Server sales arena with a demonstrated track record for success. Experience working with Federal Government departments and agencies would be an added plus. Financial / business case selling translating solution benefits into quantified customer value is essential. Your ability to articulate that ""infrastructure matters"" leading to success selling analytics/Big Data, Cloud and Mobile infrastructure requirements is another big plus. Accountability for business results as well as customer satisfaction are critical to this position. Working with cross brand teams to drive greater opportunity pipeline is also a key requirement. Additional Skills Required:
At least 10 years’ sales experience with 7 years in IT Industry.
At least 3 years of experience in competitive sales and business development skills
At least 3 years’ experience in IBM hardware experience, system z /mainframe or Power Systems experience is preferred, however training will be provided to the right candidate
Experience in leading complex sales engagements both direct sales and in conjunction with IBM Business Partners.
Should have business acumen and C-level presence
Should have presentation and financial skills
At least 5 years’ experience in High End Server sales with demonstrated track record
At least 3 years’ experience in sales of Infrastructure Solutions
Ability to hunt and close new logo accounts in assigned territory
