  • 8+ years of experience of DBA experience with Sql Server 2008 (primary) and SQL Server 2014

  • Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools

  • Solid understanding of Sql Server internals (i.e. threading models & caching mechanisms)

  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models

  • Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server

  • Strong knowledge and experience in delivering SQL Server in an AWS environment
