The Sr. Teller Service Specialist provides superior and quality service to members while adhering to United Heritage Credit Union's quality service standards, policies and procedures. They will perform financial transactions for cash vaults and members accurately, maintain records, and provide information to members regarding their accounts and credit union services, products and promotional items. Exercise discretion, judgment, and initiative with each transaction while presenting a positive image of the organization.


  • Receive and process all teller transactions accurately.

  • Promote and maintain positive relations with all contacts, members and potential members.

  • Actively participate in cross selling and referring beneficial products and services to members and non-members.

  • Balancing vault, cash dispensing machines and branch transactions daily if necessary.

  • Provide guidance to other tellers in making judgment calls when applicable regarding the processing of transactions and acceptance of checks.

  • Understand measurable and tracked sales efforts and consistently achieve assigned goals and baselines relative to branch thresholds.

  • Also lead by example in coaching other tellers in achieving their individual goals.


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

  • At least 1 year of heavy cash handling experience.

  • Minimum of 1 year teller operations in a credit union or bank environment.

  • Candidates are required to have working experience of cash handling procedures, including account reconciliation and balancing.

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role.

  • Must be available to work a flexible 40 hour schedule to include all branch operating hours and a rotating Saturday schedule.

  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.
