Kforce Systems Support Analyst in Austin, Texas

A Kforce client in Austin, TX is looking for a Systems Support Analyst who will work with a number of business partners in the finance and accounting space to support a variety of Financial applications which have a great impact the ability to operate in the market today.Summary:The candidate will be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting complex system issues across a range of technologies. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the business processes that each of the company's systems impacts and be able to communicate and translate system impacts to non-technical and business users. They should be able to work with Microsoft and Oracle Databases at a high level to query multiple tables and research data issues with support from their business partners.

  • Adept in writing SQL queries and optimization of SQL

  • Worked with both Oracle and SQL Server databases (11g/2012 R2 or greater)

  • Experience with Job Scheduling Tools (Tidal is preferred)

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Experience with managing ticket queues

  • Experience developing knowledge documentation

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (Business Partner facing position)

  • Strong understanding of retail financial systems (POS, Reporting, GL, etc)

  • Strong work ethic - Will be on call and must respond to calls and alerts

  • Strong data analysis skills

  • An understanding of Agile is strongly desired, but not required
