Our Borger plant produces both ammonia and urea and as of 2015 is currently undergoing an expansion. With 90 employee positions and more being brought in for the expansion our Borger facility has great opportunities!

Reporting to the Document Control Manager, the Document Control (DC) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day document control activities for Project Lone Star and provide back shift coverage for the DC Manager. The role will provide guidance to the DC admins, assist in the day to day activities and assist the DC manager with more complex activities.
This Document Controller is responsible for receiving, processing, monitoring, distributing and filing official issues of drawings and documentation for the site.
Ensure project documentation compliance with the documented standards and procedures.
This position involves quality checking documentation, ensuring that documents are categorized, managed and stored correctly as well as coordinating with the different departments and contractors to ensure that documents are accessible to all stakeholders. This role involves working to deadlines and ensuring that all departments are following the same procedures with regards to documents.
Provide document control/ management support to the project team and any other tasks as directed.
Any other job responsibilities as required by the Company’s discretion.

Minimum 5 years’ of project document management experience; oil & gas or mining mega-project (>$1B) document management experience required.
Construction Contractor Document Management and/or Project Management Document Control experience required.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction lifecycle and related documentation.
Background in the Turnover of construction and commissioning documentation to Operations.
Strong skills in development and implementation of business processes, standards and procedures.
Strong computer skills, especially with electronic document management systems (Open Text, Live Link), databases (MS Access, SQL, etc.).
Microsoft Suite – especially excel (advanced excel skills preferred), Adobe Acrobat Professional, and other project management applications.
Technical diploma in computer sciences or engineering or equivalent experience.
Training experience preferred.
Must be able to work a rotational schedule of 10 days on and 4 days off.
Provide guidance and clarification on document management requirements and procedures to project team members & EPC personnel; recognize and collaboratively address non-conformance.
Coordinate and perform quality control for controlled documents (correct document number, revision, title) and document meta-data using databases and data analysis technologies.
Perform document management training, and provide desk-side technical assistance to the project team.
Track and report on project document deliverables.
