The position is responsible for managing and conducting various financial analyses used to determine customer, program, and item-level profitability for the McKesson Independent Retail (ISMC) Segment. This position will be expected to lead pricing for key ISMC pharmaceutical distribution deals.

Lead pricing analysis & pricing strategy for: ISMC National Buying Groups and regional ISMC chain customers

Provide recurring and ad hoc customer analysis to support the ISMC segment

Identify opportunities for business development and support special projects in ISMC segment

Interface with Sr. Management and various executives on deal reviews and profitability analysis

Participate in customer negotiations and customer business reviews periodically

QualificationsMinimum Requirements3+ years of financial or accounting experience and demonstrated leadership skillsCritical Skills - 5+ years business experience strongly preferred in Financial Analysis, Pricing, and/or Sales Support, preferably in the pharmaceutical or drug wholesaling industries. - Strong communication skills especially in the area of verbal/written communication to senior management - Knowledge of McKesson's operations, programs and selling strategies - Business development in the pharmaceutical wholesaling industry - Ability to think logically and analytically, problem-solve, build consensus and lead initiatives.Additional Knowledge & SkillsSolid knowledge of finance policies, practices and systemsEducation4-year degree in finance or related field or equivalent experiencePhysical RequirementsGeneral Office DemandsBenefits & Company StatementMcKesson believes superior performance – individual and team – that helps us drive innovations and solutions to promote better health should be recognized and rewarded.
