Fun Town RV Human Resources Generalist/Safety Representative in Cleburne, Texas

Position Summary:

Position will be located in Cleburne, TX, and supporting multiple locations in Texas and Oklahoma. This position focuses heavily on talent management activities including: sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and selection. Safety compliance, employee relations and training will also be part of the daily responsibilities for this position. Other key functions include performance management, benefits administration and complaint resolution. As in all support positions, administrative duties are required, such as filing, timekeeping, event planning, etc. The successful candidate will exercise excellent customer service while working closely with all levels of the organization. The successful candidate must be a team player who is self-driven, embraces change, and who is committed to excellence.


-Coordinate all activities associated with staffing and recruiting

-Investigate and resolve workplace issues in a fair and timely manner

-Coordinate safety compliance related activities, to include reporting, training and policy updates

-Coordinates processing of terminating employees

-Coordinates processing of new employees to ensure accuracy of pay, benefits, and employment information. Maintains personnel files on all employees

-Prepares reports as required and assists with compilation of statistical analysis needed for the preparation of HR metrics

-Maintains all employment, compensation, and benefit data in the HRIS system to ensure accuracy of employee information

-Prepares and updates company-wide organization chart

-Counsels and advises employees, supervisors, and managers on benefits-related issues and troubleshoots as needed.

-Coordinates various employee activities

-Performs other related duties as assigned by management


Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or other related field and/or 5 years of generalist experience

  • 3+ years Safety Compliance experience preferred

  • Knowledge and experience in 3 or more HR functions: staffing, employee relations, training, benefits, compensation, HRIS, payroll, etc.

  • General knowledge HRIS system implementation a plus

  • Ability to work well with teams and independently

  • Strong sense of urgency, initiative to assess situations and provide solutions

  • Demonstrated track record of honesty, integrity, loyalty, accountability, respect, teamwork and consistency

  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude

  • Detail-oriented, with comfort working in a structured environment

  • Willingness to travel as necessary, not to exceed 20%

  • Computer skills - Google Mail, Sheets, Docs and Calendar a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit and talk or hear.

  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
