UnitedHealth Group Transportation Supervisor - Corpus Christi, TX in Corpus Christi, Texas
Primary Responsibilities: Conducts daily vehicle inspections Picks up and transport clients and staff members to and from their homes and various medical facilities Completes patient run reports daily Inputs operational key metrics data into appropriate software programs Assists in conducting the quality assurance program Monitors the hours actually worked, approves time sheets and requests for time off and maintains necessary associated records for the Transportation Specialist staff Assures company assets are kept in appropriate condition Seeks ways to improve job efficiency and makes suggestions to the appropriate manager Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested Attends educational offerings to keep abreast of changes and comply with operational requirements Assists with and ensures accident and incident reports are completed correctly in a timely manner Assists with new employee orientation and training processes Ensures Comfort Care policies and procedures are enforced at all times Performs all other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent Three or more years of transportation experience Must be at least 25 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license (Class “B” license for Florida applicants only) and be able to pass a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report check Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel and Outlook This position requires Tuberculosis is screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor's diagnosis of disease Preferred Qualifications: Operations experience within a transportation industry Bilingual (English / Spanish) fluency Careers with WellMed.
