Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Infrastructure Services Department is look for a passionate and highly-motivated Analytics Engineer.
The Analytics Engineer – Data Platform Infrastructure Services is responsible for the end to end engineering of Business Analytics and Insights platforms and solutions for Toyota. This person will also be responsible for the design, delivery, and engineering of platforms to empower users to gain insights from data towards decision making.
What you’ll be doing
Provide leadership, strategic direction, engineering and platform support for Enterprise Business Analytics including BI platforms, Self Service BI, Predictive Analytics, Data Science, Big Data Insights and Machine Learning.
Should be knowledgeable of the following technologies: Oracle Business Intelligence, Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, Linux/Unix, Semantic model management, Securing a business intelligence infrastructure.
Provide direction to the platform engineering components of an Enterprise Business Intelligence Roadmap.
Support the management of the Enterprise Business Intelligence platforms to include tech uplift, evaluation of new products and enhancements, management of total cost of ownership
Actively participate in technology design for all components of Business Intelligence for Toyota Projects
What you bring
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Experience engineering Business Intelligence solutions in complex environments
Be current on latest industry developments and trends to help lead the development of system/process improvements
High-level communication skills to influence and persuade others
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to management
Added bonus if you have:
MBA and IT related work experience
Related technical certification/s
