AirFlite’s Aircraft Maintenance Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Maintenance Controller. Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate and provide administrative support with a wide range of tasks for the Aircraft Maintenance Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for Maintenance Department to ensure smooth, consistent operations. Assist management in a wide array of department activities.

  • Ensure efficient office operations by maintaining, creating, and implementing office systems and procedures. Execute activities required to meet department goals.

  • Verify budget compliance and approve payment for all invoices as directed by and in the absence of the Maintenance Manager. Contact vendors for pricing and discrepancies in billing.

  • Work with management to create, prepare, administer and verify department's annual budget.

  • Interact on AirFlite’s behalf, with respect to Corporate Maintenance Operations, with management and their support staff. Point of contact for department interaction with company and vendor relations. Retain primary contact with other departments in the absence of the Maintenance management.

  • Maintain accurate and current status of Maintenance department personnel’s travel itinerary and reservations. Provide updates on trip coverage to offsite personnel.

  • Provide support for maintaining the manufacturer’s maintenance tracking programs. Run required reports and special projects as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

  • Remain current and knowledgeable regarding, but not limited to the Corporate Flight Operations Manual and Repair Station Manuals.

  • Respond as needed to changes in operations worldwide

A successful candidate will have:

  • Ability to respond to departmental needs on an unscheduled basis after regular work hours.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities

  • Ability to work overtime as needed

  • Accounting experience

  • Travel coordination experience

  • Knowledge of the following software:

  • MS Word and Excel

  • Corridor

  • AS400

  • FOS

  • Outlook

  • Lync

  • Gulfstream CMP

  • Adobe

A successful candidate may have:

  • Aviation Services Experience

  • FAA Repair Station Experience

  • Bachelor Degree
