This Benefits Operations Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day operations and compliance of all benefit plans and programs for Toyota North America benefits. You will report to the Benefits Operations Manager. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Provide hands-on, professional Benefits support to 30k plus team members across the Toyota organization

  • Conduct consensus building with key stakeholders of the organization

  • Develop proposals for executive review and consideration related to One Toyota Benefits alignment

  • Administer key benefits administration processes for both Health & Welfare Plans and Retirement Plans

  • Work with Corporate Finance and external auditors on development of annual financial statements and all government tax filings including 5500's and SAR's

  • Handle extremely sensitive and confidential information on routine basis. Uses Toyota Way knowledge, problem solving skills, and sustainable countermeasures

  • Must exhibit positive, professional approach to work, with strong communication and customer service skills

  • Interact with all levels of the company from individual contributor to executive level

  • Work cohesively as part of a team

A successful candidate will:

  • Bachelors’ degree in business or related field

  • Human Resources corporate benefits experience

  • Experience with outsourcing benefits- both Health & Welfare and Retirement

  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • PeopleSoft and/or Workday experience or equivalent HR software experience

  • Willing to work overtime

  • Willing to travel- 5%-10%

A successful candidate may have:

  • Graduate degree

  • PHR certification

  • Experience working in large, global diverse companies
