Kforce Biometric Voice Implementation Engineer in Dallas, Texas

Kforce has a client that is searching for a Biometric Voice Engineer. This position can be based at the client's Columbus (OH), Wilmington (DE) or Dallas (TX) locations, no remote.Summary:This position is responsible for third level support through review and diagnosis of reported problems, research (able to reproduce a software or hardware problem and work with any relevant technical documentation), isolation and resolution, and follow-up steps in order to get mission critical issues resolved as soon as possible. This role will be the technical lead in incorporating potential additional services to the IVR platform including TTS, ASR (directed dialogue, natural language processing), voice biometrics, SMS and other enhanced services.Key Responsibilities/Job Functions:

  • Develop understanding of key business processes and determine how contact center solutions can improve performance

  • Work closely with Business stakeholders to build concise and complete requirements

  • Translate business requirements to specific technical requirements that are specific to the related contact center technology solutions

  • Understand Business needs to effectively support unit, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing efforts

  • Become the point of contact for technical support concerning solutions supporting the Business

  • Develop, review, and edit detailed designs for customer projects or ongoing support efforts

  • Develop reports as part of customer project requirements

  • Manage and balance multiple projects and tasks in order to manage to deliverable dates and must work with customers, project managers and stakeholders to assure expectations are met

  • Consistently deliver high-quality services to customers

  • Understand and support documentation of best practice business processes in support of Business Requirements

  • Responsible for producing detailed design documentation and providing knowledge transfer to operational support teams

  • 4 to 6 years of progressive IVR Application Development experience

  • Knowledge of SQL, VXML

  • Experience with Biometric Implementations and Voice Data

  • Strong experience with requirements definition, especially with highly technical requirements

  • The ability to design call flows from requirements documentation

  • Positive influencing skills, both verbally and through the preparation of written materials in order to build relationships and effectively communicate business needs to internal technology groups

  • Ability to leverage basic application tools such as Microsoft Word, Visio, PowerPoint and Excel to build effective requirements documentation

  • Self-motivated and a quick study with a demonstrated ability to learn complex new environments and platforms quickly

  • Team player who places great emphasis on collective achievement within their team and who possesses strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and sustaining a high level of performance when under pressure

  • Experience presenting business proposals and recommendations to technical, business and management audiences

  • Good interpersonal and collaboration skills are considered essential to the position

  • Ability to work with broad spectrum of individuals in varied settings across the organization

  • Ability to work in a complex environment, Global/International experience and the ability to work across cultures and time zones

  • Ability to interface and cultivate excellent working relationships both within Technology, Business and vendors
