JPMorgan Chase Change Readiness Lead, Dallas, TX in Dallas, Texas

This role supports the Commerce Solutions Line of Business, reporting to the CAO Change Readiness Manager. The Change Readiness Lead facilitates and dispositions the collection of incoming complex and business critical change requests from a variety of functional or operational areas when those requests have the potential to impact our specialists or customers. The Change Readiness Lead will: 1) conduct the proper due diligence to ensure that the change is well defined, 2) identify & select the functions that need to assess, 3) ensure that each of the assessors receive the required supporting documentation to conduct a proper assessment, 4) resolve any questions or scope clarifications in order to ensure that the assessment are completed, 5) monitor the activities required to implement an effective and sustainable change, and 6) drive a robust Go / No Go process that ensures organizational readiness prior to the implementation of a change. The Change Readiness Lead must remain aware of the committed SLA’s and proactively manage the demand through the Change Readiness Lifecycle. Key Functions:

  • The core responsibilities of this position include developing a solid understanding of the unique functions & responsibilities of the LOB, Functions and Operational Areas

  • Communicating with the change requestor or point of contact to keep them informed of the progress of the change request throughout the Change Request Lifecycle

  • Executing timely impact assessments, monitoring inventory queues, facilitating requests for more information and analyzing the assessment results for cross or missed impacts

  • Driving prioritization and scheduling activities

  • Monitoring required pre-implementation activities for adherence to delivery date

  • Working with stakeholders to resolve deliverables, date, quality or scheduling issues

  • Drives Go / No Go meetings to ensure that required activities are competed and sustainable

  • Responsible for communication to the organization relating to results of Go / No Go meeting and scheduled implementation dates.

  • Performs quality checks of activities being performed by Change Readiness Staff throughout the Change Readiness Lifecycle

  • Monitoring SLA’s and taking action on missed SLA’s in throughout lifecycle of the change request

    8 years experience in relevant process or controls disciplines such as Operations, Marketing Centers of Excellence, Controls or Risk Management. Credit card or Merchant Acquiring experience preferred. · Bachelors Degree in Operations Management, quantitative discipline or related field preferred · Strong analytic abilities, knowledge of process evaluation and risk assessment · Strong expertise in project/program management discipline, techniques and Project Delivery Process · Demonstrated experience with technology specific project/programs and execution on a cross-functional level; ability to understand technical possibilities to apply to desired outcomes · Demonstrated experience in building communication plans to support projects or programs · Strong communication skills, interpersonal relationship-building and influencing
