Position Summary The Clinical Consultant is responsible for delivery of clinically oriented in-service training related to Stanley Healthcare (SH) products, in acute care and long term care settings. Training subject matter includes functionality of SH products, including use of related software applications and physical devices such as RFID tags. The Clinical Consultant also participates in system implementations, advising on application of SH solution alignment with clinical best practices. Consulting and recommendations related to clinical workflows affected by SH solutions such as patient security and patient safety are responsibilities of this position. This position requires expertise in clinical practice consulting, data gathering, root cause analysis, and solution-based implementation. The qualification requirements include experience developing and delivering clinical consulting and educational programs supporting the sales and implementation cycles. Essential Job Functions

  • Deliver in-service training to clinical audiences of SH solutions, primarily in support of our Infant Protection products
  • Develop expertise in SH product functionality and application to customer requirements
  • Provide clinical consulting support during implementation lifecycle including customer design workshops, workflow analysis, solution training, and go-live support.
  • Directly support Clinical Services Manager in setup procedures for implementation, application and integration of Stanley Healthcare product lines
  • Perform training needs analysis with SH customers and other subject matter experts to assist in design and development of training courses and best practices recommendations
  • Develop and maintain course materials as assigned
  • Ability to travel 75% or greater required

Essential Education, Skills & Experience

  • 3 years clinical experience in an acute care setting
  • Firsthand experience with delivery of customized educational programs for multiple disciplines in a healthcare setting
  • Extensive experience delivering training in-person
  • Experience performing needs analysis and action plan development in a healthcare environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts to all levels internally and with customers
  • Demonstrated skill implementing quality and workflow improvements in a clinical setting
  • Mastery of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required

Nonessential/Preferred Education, Skills & Experience

  • Self-starter and ability to work independently
  • Ability to align clinical practices and understanding of products into a customized, consultative program for healthcare customers
  • Ability to work with confidential information
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience with healthcare technologies, such as patient security systems, falls risk management tools, pagers and wireless communications devices desired
  • Experience training clinicians on non-clinical technical topics desired
