This will include pricing hardware and software components of a deal, establishing a SOW once a project is approved, assisting with RFP responses and distribution of collateral. Position may require 30%25%20travel as needed.The Cloud Advisor Sales Pursuit Consultant position will be focused on the following activities:Serve as the central point for the proposal development process for cloud hosting projects on AWS: This includes evaluating the potential client s requirements, managing a timely process under deadline, writing executive summaries and technical content, work with technical team members to develop the written approach to the work, as well as editing and rewriting proposal content into clear, effective, and consistent responses.The candidate should be able to assume this role for extremely complex cloud pursuits, and will be able to demonstrate and contribute techniques and experience.Lead and collaborate with the proposal development teamPrice cloud hosting opportunities based on client requirements, experience with AWS, Azure and Cloud technologiesMaintain audit trail of activities pertaining to cloud hosting deals in ServiceNowProvide strategic and operational leadership to pursuitsManage the hosting component of a pursuit to bring the right expertise to the opportunity and increase the changes of a winAssist in crafting a compelling hosting value proposition, winning messages, and a real story both in the written and potentially at orals if requiredBring best practices from other hosting opportunitiesManage QRM / Risk / Confidential Information processesElevates issues, team needs, requests for resources, etc., as neededLead efforts to raise awareness of the cloud hosting capability across the practice, including all hands meetings, webinars, communications, etc.Development of performance reports and analysis as needed to drive continuous improvement of the cloud hosting pursuit modelPERSONAL QUALIFICATIONSUnderstands overall firm services and support consulting function to connect with industry and service area practicesStrong project management skills: able to work independently on multiple assignments while maintaining quality deliverablesProven ability to address and manage conflictAbility to work well under pressure, maintain composure and be flexibleHighly proactive, self-starterStrong analytical skills and interpersonal relationship skillsConsulting sales pursuit, proposal development, and development of market offerings experience preferredAnalytical thinker able to analyze and interpret sales related questions and inquiriesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAnalytics and process rigor to drive continuous improvementExperience developing statements of work and/or client proposalsBachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent professional experienceAn advanced degree in the area of specialization is preferredPrior Big-4 consulting experience highly desiredCreative person who has developed innovative approaches to developing solutions
