JPMorgan Chase Commerce Solutions - Payment Brand Operations Analyst - (Dallas, TX or Tampa, FL) in Dallas, Texas
The Payment Brand Initiatives (PBI) Manager will be a part of the Payment Network Office and reside within the Acquirer Network Relations and Operations team. This individual will be focused on all of the Acquiring initiatives that both the traditional Payment Brands (e.g. Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, etc.) as well as Debit Networks (Pulse, Star, NYCE, etc.) issue regularly. However, this candidate will also need to ensure harmony between both the Issuing as well as Acquiring initiatives requested by all of the Networks.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing an overall governance process around the planning, prioritizing and articulation of necessary changes being issued by our Acquirer Network partners and vendors. In addition, this individual will be responsible for maintaining the inventory, strategy and road maps for those entities as well. Further, this individual will be the primary resource on point to maintain and oversee the overall health and status of the PBI projects, and communicate accordingly within the Payment Network Office. The successful candidate will have the ability to lead and influence, and drive meaningful productive change within the PBI process.
The core responsibilities of this position include:
Establishment of the PBI governance process.
Set the strategy and decision making of PBI items and oversee the execution of that strategy.
Develop and author the PBI project charters, maintain oversight of key dates and deliverables, as well as identify issues and risks.
Facilitate and lead the Concept Review and NBIA processes for the Acquirer Network team.
Continually evaluate and prioritize the initiatives and maintain a close working relationship with the Business Engineering team to that end.
Communication of PBI project health and status to the leadership team within the Payment Network Office.
Work cross functionally with the necessary departments within Chase Paymentech to ensure the quarterly releases as well as other Payment Brand functionality is implemented in an efficient and least impactful way.
Collaborate with other LOBs within Chase to ensure harmony with Issuing and Acquiring initiatives.
Ensure a strict communications schedule is followed – maintain overall calendar for communications, determine when they need to be issued, and ensure clarity and delivery accuracy is achieved.
Projects included within the scope of responsibility consist of the quarterly Payment Brand Releases, interchange cycles – both global as well as custom, and modifications or additions to Payment Brand/Debit Network functionality.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience within the payments industry or related field
• High orientation/attention to detail
• Assertive and require minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to analyze & research to resolve and communicate issues
• Good proficiency with Excel
• Sense of urgency and follow through
• Ability to work on own initiatives
• Understanding of the payments industry would be preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook
• Strong SharePoint 2010 skills
