Job Description

We are seeking multiple Construction Inspectors for numerous large higher education projects in Texas. The positions will be located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area, as well as, the Rio Grande Valley (Edinburg & Brownsville) areas.

Overall Responsibilities

  • The Inspector will have knowledge of design, construction and operations.

  • Understanding of owner representation and requirements.

  • Knowledge of scheduling, cost control and project control techniques.

  • Candidate will schedule, coordinate and perform field inspection work for code compliance, contract requirements, and safety.

  • Recommend or reject materials and workmanship as appropriate.

  • Complete written inspection reports.

  • Process field reports.

  • Maintain inspection and deficiency/omission logs.

Job Requirements

Required Skills

  • 8 years of Construction Inspection experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of construction practices and workmanship, including material selection and installation methods.

  • MEP experience preferred.

  • Experience with higher educational facilities or commercial construction is highly preferred.
