Title: Hospitality Sales Engineer
Location: Alpharetta, GA; Denver, CO; Dallas, TX; California preferred; May consider other US West Coast locations.

Sales Engineer for Franchise customers of NCR Silver, Pro & Console. This position requires a technical and sales skillset and the ability to work well with clients. This role is a technical focal point for existing customers and has a selling component to on-board new franchise sites.

  • Relationship Mgr. & Single Point of Contact for the client; the customer’s internal advocate.

  • Knowledgeable of client’s key initiatives (now/future if req. for rollout) to ensure alignment & deployment; travel required to meet with Franchisor’s & “in the field” with franchise operators (25%).

  • “Farms” account base for organic growth (site additions) and additional SaaS revenue opportunities; example: cross/up-sell account base with new NCR and applicable 3rd Party Solutions.

  • Knowledgeable of open, escalated & closed Help Desk tickets by account; meet weekly with the Dir. of Customer Care. Monitors priority Help Desk client tickets and helps resolve.

  • Responsible for providing key updates to client accounts & bringing in additional NCR resources as required.

  • Manage & Prioritize Client Development Requests / Feature Adds with Product Mgmt.

  • Utilize MTG Agenda’s. Assists with Contract completion and Order forecasting (Sales Force).

  • Order & Receivables Mgmt. – should be in sync with Sales OPs on order and site deliveries.

  • Needs to be proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

  • Conducts Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s) with accounts, manages follow-up action items. ◦ Implementation Status, KPI's including Service (HW/SW), Outages & Receivables, NPS ◦ Travel required

    • Key responsibilities include : *
  • Become an expert on NCR Silver as well as the complimenting 3rd Party solutions.

  • Be able to effectively represent, explain and demonstrate Silver to prospective clients.

  • Be able to install a Silver and Silver Pro site and conduct training.

  • Become familiar with NCR Console, be able to demonstrating & talk to capabilities.

  • Understand Silver competitive offerings and be able to message differentiation points.

  • Assist National Sale Dir. in driving new opportunities and business - Silver sites.

  • Guide development of on-boarding and customer-facing documentation.

  • Collaborate with 3rd Party providers as required on account opportunities.

  • Assist in choice Marketing initiatives.

  • Work with Silver Product DEV & ENG team to define requirements and enhancements.

  • Long-term - Assist in Roadmap prioritization and planning.

  • Manage high priority issue that are affecting multiple customers.

  • Selling component and initiative required to on-board new franchise sites.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 3 years of technical experience desired.

  • Ability to multi-task; strong sense of ownership and urgency; ability to improvise.

  • General computer skills required; PowerPoint/Microsoft Word/Excel & Saleforce proficiency.

  • Strong interpersonal skills are key.

  • Technology and Solution support and implementation experience valuable.
