DEAN FOODS COMPANY HRIS Analyst II (Metrics & Analytics) in Dallas, Texas

The HRIS Analyst II, under general supervision, supports and maintains the Company’s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This position serves as an enabler of technology to ensure accurate Human Resources data throughout the system and the interfaces to third party vendors. This position provides functional and technical expertise to Human Resources end users regarding the access to HRIS systems through report design and generation, integration development, enhancements and maintenance.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Prepares statistical summaries and reports from HRIS involving payroll information, performance management, and other employee data

  • Work directly with external customers to review, test and implement new or enhanced technology (i.e. interfaces, outsourced vendors, systems integration) and manage service and support

  • Assists in the design, development, testing implementation and support of new HRIS technologies

  • Design and develop reports using a variety of reporting tools (Access Excel, Tableau, ADP Report Writing tool, SQL, etc.)

  • Assists in the design, development, testing, implementation, upgrading, and support of new or modified HRIS capabilities

  • Analyzes requests, writes, and customizes statistical summaries and special reports from HRIS

  • Creates customized screens

  • Serves as a departmental resource and troubleshoots unusual data entry situations, problems with report writing, payroll issues, etc.

  • Acts as liaison with IT staff in resolving programming or related problems

  • Trains and/or instructs less-experienced HRIS employees

  • Analyze and update as needed table entries and system configuration

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years HRIS experience

  • Strong understanding of and experience with fundamental HRIS concepts, practices, and procedures

  • Experience and/or familiarity with ADP or PeopleSoft beneficial

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite required with advanced level Excel skills strongly desired

  • Ability to credibly influence others with his/her point of view

  • Ability to understand and add value to Dean’s business

  • Ability to deliver and execute high-quality and consistent Human Resources processes and services

  • Ability to align programs and services with Company’s overall vision

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills

  • Skill in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs

  • Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines

  • Ideal candidate will be based in Dallas, TX; may also consider candidates willing/able to work in Franklin Park, IL or Charlotte, NC
