Position Summary

Based in Dallas, this role is responsible for development of all current & future reference data adapters between the firm’s golden sources and our fund services platform. In addition, this person will be responsible for EDA (surround system for core WINS accounting platform). Overall the person is responsible for a global team of 30 developers, building new systems and ensuring stability of these highly critical business systems.

The role reports to the global lead of Fund Accounting and Administration Technology within Custody & Fund Services Technology. This person is a SME in firm’s reference data golden source, core technologist with proven track record of building mission critical production systems, very familiar with fund services business and works closely with business partners.

The candidate must be able to partner and influence across all levels of the organization and senior business leaders on proactive enhancements, efficiency, stability and improvement efforts.

This position will be responsible for end-to-end systems development and support including:

  • New software builds and maintenance of existing systems

  • SME for reference data adapters, fund services business, senior level engagement and management of business stakeholders

  • Drive continuous improvement, including owning the outcomes of the root cause analysis process, including identifying portfolio level changes

  • Manage relationships with internal technology providers

  • Implement application instrumentation for appropriate monitoring, including health checks and logging

  • Maintain robust documentation and knowledge management

  • Responsible for Audit, Risk, Control Self Assessment, and oversight of the production environment

  • Own change management standards and ensures that change does not negatively impact the production environment. Own production stability and recovery.

  • Ensure disaster recovery architecture and environment is adequate to meet application recovery time objectives

  • Bachelors degree in computer science / engineering

  • Minimum 10 years of systems development experience and related management experience

  • Hands on manager, who can drive change, influence and lead across business and technology.

  • Possesses high levels of energy and endurance

  • Rigorously holds oneself and others accountable for achieving high levels of individual and organizational performance

  • SME for reference data and fund services

  • Ability and commitment to attract develop and retain talent including experience in developing team knowledge of applicable businesses.
