IBM Juniper Technical Architect in DALLAS, Texas
Job Description:The Juniper Networks Alliance Technical Solution Architect is responsible for providing deep technical expertise across all aspects of automated Cloud and SDN environments, including development of environment architecture, deployments, migrations& operations as well as developing first of a kind use case assets fitting customer concerns. Must be located in the greater Dallas/Coppell Tx area, as this will be the primary work location. Additional responsibilities include:
Support joint IBM / Juniper selling activities to our prospects (for example demos, web conferences, workshops, POC, etc.).
Network Innovation Centers (NIC in Dallas and Nice) – Work with IBM’s NS (“Network Services”) portfolio team to integrate Juniper’s offerings/technologies into IBM solutions. Build proofs of concepts and use cases. Support customer briefings and other NIC related activities.
Generate and keep updated technical presentation and deliver to IBM GTS (“Global Technology Services”) services professionals. Train IBM sales and presales teams on IBM Juniper solutions.
Account Engagement Support – Provide engagement support for Juniper offerings as needed. The Alliance Technical Solution Architect will support Center Of Competency as part of the above initiatives as well as key customer opportunities through responses to RFP/RFI or formal proposals.
Pro-actively raise awareness of the Juniper capability inside IBM, so that the IBM Digital Sales & Solution Integration Hub personnel gain appropriate knowledge to support/develop IBM/Juniper joint solutions.
Required: Seven-ten years’ experience with network support environments WAN/LAN, API support, mobile/wireless networks.
Required: Experienced with fundamentals and some hands on familiarity with Cloud, SDN, NFV technologies.
Required: One or more, CCNA, JNCA, JNCIE Certification
Communication / Negotiations: Must be able to communicate effectively with and define solutions to both technical and non-technical stake holder, including Juniper/IBM and/or client account teams in formal and informal environments. . In support of opportunities, identify technical requirements, develops and / or reviews solutions/technical proposals, establishes technical scope of work, identifies cost factors, supports pricing resolution and negotiation of contract terms & conditions.
