Who we’re looking for Toyota’s Treasury Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Manager – Debt and Derivatives.
The primary responsibility of this role is responsible for strengthening and supporting all debt & derivatives programs through deal execution, transaction documentation and investor/supplier relations in order to achieve corporate goals for effectively funding the business, supporting business growth, and improving enterprise and liquidity risk management.
What you’ll be doing
Monitor interest rate, currency, commodity, equity and fixed income markets and the global economy generally in order to identify trends & develop a market view; use that view for formulate execution strategy for portfolio swaps and other approved instruments/securities within predefined limits and parameters National Manager, Derivatives & Rate Desk Evaluate/monitor interest rate risk position in accordance with ALCO and Treasury Risk Management guidelines; execute discretionary & approved portfolio swaps & caps within such limits and parameters in order to achieve targeted hedge ratio and dollar targets by tenor Partner with TFSS Sales & Trading and Capital Markets teams to manage the execution of any/all necessary associated swaps in connection with debt, ABS and loan instruments/securities Active participation in Hedging, Fair Value, Valuations, New Process & Products and ABS Kaizen working groups to help develop overall strategy, improve processes and work flows, and to identify & implement best practices Spearhead development efforts of new products & processes using available tools such as Bloomberg, Numerix, Excel and other applications Drive process improvements to "production" processes; create redundancies in coverage; ensure clean and current policies and procedures; enable cross-functional training & execution Manage support of various lines of business (dealer credit, national accounts) for any and all needed market inputs and intelligence, including market color, rate locks, prepayment calculations, new loan/product pricing, etc. Support Treasury representation at Credit Committee and CAT to provide insight into cost of funds and liquidity for dealer lending activities Develop tools to more efficiently deliver such support to users; facilitate and enable better decisions through the automated delivery of required inputs; spearhead development efforts of new products & processes using available tools Coordinate & conduct investor relations and marketing activities to support TMCC’s Debt & Derivatives programs and to educate investors, rating agencies, research firms and other stakeholders on the Toyota/TFS story Identify funding opportunities and execute approved structured notes What you bring •Advanced Degree. Specify: MBA or Advanced degree in relevant field •5-10 years of relevant work experience (in similar field and/or industry) •CFA License
•Knowledge of : Bloomberg, Reuters, WallStreet Systems, Numerix, Intex and VBA, SQL
