The Mobility Sales Specialist will take the lead role in delivering the US sales plan for HP Mobility products, demonstrating solution selling mastery and mobility subject matter expertise. This person will lead the complete mobility dialog with the partners and customers. He/She will partner with the field sales team to outline the value of Mobility to the customer and effectively position HP solution offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mobility subject-matter experts across the mobility value chain (HP and non-HP)

  • Lead consultative value based solution selling process

  • Engages and integrates pan-HP relationships to activate customer mobility solutions

  • Prospect & expedite opportunities by partnering with field Team and effectively positioning HP Solution offering

  • Leverage ISV & channel resources to build complete solution, build pipeline and close deals with disciplined pipeline management skills

  • Use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities and expand and enhance existing opportunities to build the pipeline in and drive pursuit.

  • Develop strategy with field sales teams, sales management, Mobility GBU and other key category stakeholders on programs and product positioning to win business.

  • Often creates innovative solutions to enhance sales of the product lines or line of services/solutions.

  • Superior understanding of the Mobility business, Vertical Industries, products, and solutions, along with consultative sales challenges and strategies.

  • Establishes relationships and represents team with sales force and other partners at senior level.

  • Product line and quota responsibility for a significant share of the product range, or a specific customer segment.

  • Functional responsibility for the team in one or several areas (market analysis, marketing engagement, SF communication etc).

  • Deliver Regional events and Customer engagements

Education and Experience Required

  • University or Bachelors degree in Marketing, Engineering or Business; advanced degree or MBA preferred.

  • 10+ years of professional experience in commercial technology sales, marketing and/or services.

  • Demonstrated passion for Mobility – apps, devices, services, infrastructure, network.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years delivering sales results in a quota carrying role

  • Proven track record of leveraging partners to deliver results

  • Strong, detailed knowledge of solution sales cycles and sales processes

  • Firsthand experience with sales process methodologies

  • Proven track record of working with all levels of sales reps and executives

  • Demonstrated track record of self-starting, quick learning and risk-taking

  • Excellent presentation and delivery skills with demonstrated acumen in adapting content by role

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills with a strength for story telling

  • Clearly demonstrated organizational and time management skills

  • Leadership skills and cross functional influence (sales, supply chain, marketing.)
