Operations Project Consultant - Strategic Initiatives


Role Overview:

The Strategic Initiatives team is responsible for the product management of all client facing applications within Global Technology and Operations. The team own the applications and any project or initiative work impacting clients, associates or the platforms the team supports. This role is responsible for working with the CashPro product management team, Service, Fulfillment, Sales and any stakeholders to define, prioritize and support initiative work along with BAU support of the applications. Also, leads global governance for CashPro Service Center to provide global consistency with local adaptability where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the customer/business for all client facing applications

  • Create the business vision through partnerships with the team, stakeholders and customers

  • Drive multiple on-boarding and usage campaigns, including defining the campaign and execution

  • Prioritize initiative work in order to deliver optimal value to the client

  • Support agile story development and backlog refinement as needed

  • Garner buy-in to support all campaigns from key business partners in sales, service & fulfillment

  • Subject matter expert on all client facing applications with the ability to demo the current state competently to internal and external contacts

Enterprise Role Description:

Responsible for medium - large projects for an operations department, product or business unit. Provides consulting expertise to line managers on productivity issues, analyzes market and operational impact in the business brought about by the project parameters. Researches and documents organizational reviews, workflow analysis, management and staff analysis. Develops project plans including estimates of cost and resources required. Defines project scope to others outside of operations that may become involved in or impacted by the project. Requires a thorough knowledge of the operations area.


Role Qualifications:

  • 3 years in a product management or e-commerce management role

  • Candidates should have a solid understanding of agile methodology and story writing

  • Candidates must be willing to change the status quo and be a problem solver

  • Candidates must have a go-getter personality and be pro-active rather than reactive

  • Candidate must be able to influence up, down and across stakeholders
