The Product Line Manager will be responsible for managing programs focused on the delivery of products and services for customers. This position will develop and implement marketing and sales strategies and campaigns. This position will also monitor the program from initiation through delivery focused on sales and marketing plans designed to significantly grow the business as well as establish key relationships and provides customer support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads and directs activities and initiatives that result in new business development in the government services product area.

  • Manages the development of company market requirements for specific products or product lines, including product strategy definition, and requirements analysis. Uses broad concepts and business strategies to produce product marketing plans.

  • Develops marketing tools for successful product introductions.

  • Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs.

  • Monitors the development of business plans, assesses market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share.

  • Communicates customer feedback to engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance more complex existing products or product lines. Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments.

  • Manages, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

  • Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.

  • Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2 years in prior management role. 7 years of related experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:

  • Managing cost approvals for complete engine assets, as well as major modules.

  • Managing assets from engine teardown to shop visit build.

  • Valuation and acquisition of whole engine and piece-part assets in Large, Commercial Turbofan segment.

  • Technical competency in Large, Commercial Turbofan segment (FAA A&P, FAA 145 Engineering)
