Baylor Scott & White Health Professional Development Educator Intensive Care Day Job in DALLAS, Texas
We are looking for a RN to work in one of our Intensive Care Units (ICU) as the Professional Development Educator.
Our Professional Development Educator (PDE) uses knowledge and skills in education theory and application, career development, and leadership program management to support lifelong nursing development. The PDE fosters a climate for learning designed to enhance performance, excellence, synergist nursing practice and patient outcomes. The PDE facilitates and coordinates the activities and schedules for members of the Graduate Nurse Internship that is offered up to 3 times a year, serve as a liaison for academic partnerships, and collaborate regularly with managers and staff to identify and establish competency requirements for assigned area.

Associates Degree required.
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Texas RN License
2 years of nursing experience required.
BLS/CPR certification required.
Previous educator experience preferred.
Excellent presentation and communication skills required.
